Dear Prayer Partner,

I love the Scripture in 1 Peter 3:12 that says, “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers…” It’s wonderful to know that He hears every prayer that we pray. Thank you, my friend, for going to your knees on behalf of others. Because of your compassion to pray, the following are just some of the tremendous answers that have come in this month.

This month would you please join in prayer with us for the following…

Tragedy in town of Manchester, CT – A few weeks ago a man, who was asked to resign from his job at a local company, killed 8 people and then took his own life.  These families, friends, and co-workers need our sincere prayers as they try to put their lives back together after this terrible tragedy.

The families of 6 children that drowned in Louisiana – In August six teenagers drowned in a river in Louisiana when they stepped off a sandbar into deep water and couldn’t swim.  The families and friends of these young people desperately need our prayers for God’s comfort, strength, and peace to carry them through the days ahead. 

Children going back to school - There are so many things that come against our children every day in school:  Ungodly curriculums, intense peer pressure, sin, and temptations.  They are surrounded by the world and those that are Christians have a great fight to uphold a standard of Righteousness.  Please keep the youth of today, and their parents, teachers and leaders, in your special prayers!

Those without employment with financial needs - As we celebrate Labor Day, there are so many who have been without work and are desperately trying to find employment.  In this very bad economy many are struggling just to feed their families and pay their bills.  Please pray for this great need!

Our Mission Teams will be traveling to Missouri this month for a week long tent revival.  Please keep them in prayer that the power of God will move and souls will be saved and kept!
