FGIC Youth Pastor
| Dear Parent/Guardian,
Warm Spring greetings to you! It is with great excitement that we announce that it is almost time for Vacation Bible School to begin!!!!! This year VBS will be held from
July 6-16, 2010 (it begins on Tuesday due to the holiday) and we are sooooo eager for it to arrive. Do you know why? Because, we are very excited about this year’s theme:
“The King’s Highway.” Your child is going to learn all about walking with God on this road of life and making the right decisions by going to the Word of God. There are so many wonderful things in these lessons, but I can’t give them all away - your family will just have to wait and see.
But that’s not all, we have so many other fun things planned for your children too. They are going to have a great time playing games, singing songs, and creating awesome works of art in their craft rooms!

Don’t worry, because you too will get to experience VBS! That’s right, your
whole family is invited to our VBS Assembly Night on Friday Evening, July 16,2010. There will be a fun skit and you’ll hear the songs your children have been diligently learning for two weeks! After the program, we’re all going to go over to the Olive Tree Banquet Facility to have a time: eating, fellowshipping, and you’ll even get a chance to see your children’s artwork on display in the craft room. You won’t want to miss one second of it!
Your children are going to love coming to VBS! So, take a look at the enclosed information and please return the application by the deadline, May 30, 2010. The cost for VBS this year is $26.00 per child, which helps cover some of the expenses for the craft supplies, food, etc. I know your child will get so much out of these two weeks and look forward to seeing everyone on July 6th!
Sincerely,
Rev. Judith Hamlin, Youth Pastor,
and Youth Department
